My partner and I have been keeping rats for the last 4 years, In that time we've had 9 girls in total (a rolling group). We've had a mixture of rescues and breeder babies. We currently have four sweet girls - Pumpkin, Spice, Oreo and Cashew
There's nothing I love more than caring for my little gang: Playing with them, making fun enrichment activities and toys for them, giving them an interesting varied diet, and just generally making them happy! As someone with a research/science background, I find it frustrating how hard it is to find evidence-based advice about rat care. I hope a resource like this can make it easier for people to find the information they need! Look forward to meeting other rat fans!
